Post by: Blackfalcon on December 10, 2009, 01:48:49 PM: I don't make very many of these, it is a great combo, deceptively simple looking design. Curly maple with some birds eye,Bubinga striker,Cocobolo base. Sometimes they come easy, I am sure some call makers who make a straight sided box can tell you they can also be a bugger to tune. As you can see, it didn't even want to sit still for pictures,LOL.This one is going to N Carolina for Christmas. Thanks for looking, (slides), Dave

Galen already has one, I sent one down to him last spring, you should give him a call and get him to run it for you! This one is going to a friend of his.

Yea, I've tried one turpin and it made a very nice lookin screw holder!!! ROTFLMBO
