Title: Tennessee Opener

Killed this one on the wet and dreary Tennessee opener. I'm not a huge fan of blinds, but I was sure thankful to be in one this morning. Stayed dry until the walk out. I looked like I had jumped in a swimming pool by the time I reached the truck though.

Used one of my slates and a Brian Mero trumpet to coax this guy in. 26.6 pounds soaking wet, 11 inch beard, and 1 1/8" spurs.

Going to be in your neighborhood Sunday trying those Elk river bottom land birds- where ya keep the key to your place- I will be more than happy to keep yer birds company for a spell....

Great job and all we had here in MO was sunshine... of course we have until the 21st to open our season too  *cry*
