Ralph Permar Roanoke Yelper made from Paela wood. The guy I bought this from told me Ralph only made a few calls from this wood so maybe he can clarify that for me. I had to have one of these calls after I heard my good friends Nygobblers Roanoke yelper he got from Ralph. Rob said that these calls were a great fall call and he would not say that unless it was true.

Yes, The piece of wood was only enough for two calls. Had it for about twelve years on the bench. Kept it on it's end and when it would fall over it took out the other pieces around it. So finally got tired of picking up and the calls got made. Paela is the wood. I had forgotten the name but the original owner did some research and came up with it.
