The new owner asked me to post a photo of his call.  Mexican Cocobolo with .45 ferrule.

Guys,  Thanks for a the kind words.  It is the sound in the .45 calls that really sells them.  The look is icing on the cake.

Beautiful call Ralph and I am sure full of turkey! Is the mouthpiece acrylic (or is your wife missing her hair brush?) Haha..loved the background story of the Fulbright calls  ;D

I just received this call and pictures don't do it justice. I have one of Mr Permars indestructible .45 model and really like the call. A little searching and I found on another forum where someone had Mr Permar use the .45 internal on a piece of Cocobolo that turned out beautiful. I asked Mr Permar if could make me one and he suggested a Mexican Cocobolo which has a tint of red. Thinking about the mouth piece I thought the amber colored mouthpiece would look better. All I can say is the call turned out perfect. I have attached a sound file so you can get some idea as to how it plays. I am by no means good on playing one but at least you get the idea. If your considering one of Mr Permars yelpers I strongly suggest the model .45......

Good job Will. As it is very brave to put up a sound file. The trumpet has very good tone, and shows a very strong rollover. You could have kicked some leaves while you were calling, as that hen is the last thing some Gobblers will hear.  Also noticed the Jake yelps toward the end, well done.  *up*
