Title: New Mike Lapp Call
Post by: Silverspur on March 03, 2014, 09:10:24 PM
I received a little surprise on my way home from work today.  It was a special call from Mike Lapp.  Mike had been working on the NWTF challenge for callmakers to build and send George Huffman style vibrating tongue calls to Nashville to be considered for a possible new category. Only 6 callmakers accepted the challenge and Mike was lucky enough to win this un-official category.  To my surprise, I received one of his prototypes today.  Thanks Mike for this great call and yes it will see vest time for sure.  It has a lot of turkey in it! I hope to "call em up to my Lapp" with it

I ran his entry at Nashville and was surprised at the volume and tone of that call. They'll kill turkeys for sure. It sounded great.
