Title: Chalk Holder
Post by: Old Geezer on February 24, 2014, 09:49:29 AM
I was showing Richard some of my work at the convention and he thought I could make a chalk holder for the size chalk he uses on his boxes.  It is light weight and waterproof.  Here you go Richard.  I also went home with one of Richard's outstanding hen boxes.

I can see the cap being dropped while hunting so the next one will have the cap attached to the lanyard too.

Nice work Ralph. I made some a few years back out of wood scraps that hold a1/2 piece of RR chalk and really like them . The chalk box we make for the hen box just doesn't hold a big enough piece chalk IMO.

They are $40 TYD, like the one posted, made for chalk slighty less than 1/2" in diameter.  I am working on one for chalk that is a little less than 1" OD.

Here's one for the large white chalk.  It is surprisingly light weight, but not very cost effective to make.  For the guy who has everything.  I personally would put a lanyard on a film case.  This one goes to my son.
