There is no crying in FOOTBALL! ROLL TIDE WHOO HOO
I turned it on and noticed the whooping Bama was putting on Florida!
I'm not much of a College Football person, but I'm assuming now, Florida just went from 1st to .... and no way they'll be playing for National Championship, correct?

You are correct. Alabama will meet either Texas (if they win tonight) or TCU probably if Texas looses in Pasadena in the Rose Bowl for the National Title.

Time for somebody new at the top of the list........

Hey Mike, congrats on your teams win! SEC rules. Don't forget about cincy's perfect record---gave Pitt a heartbreaker today. Just goes to show ya, NCAA needed a playoff -TCU-Boise ST.-FL.-TX all have a arguement. But one loss shouldn't keep ya out of the big one *cry*

He's a spoiled little brat, guess what Timmy, you don't win everytime you play! *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry* *cry*

I am disappointed in you guys. You're telling me that you never worked for a year or more to accomplish a great goal and then failed, and didn't feel sick to your stomach about your own performance. Give Tim and his team a break.
Other than a few tears because he has a tender heart, at least he has a heart. He took full responsibility for the loss, didn't whine and admitted that the Bama team performed better and out-skilled them last night. He took the loss like a mature adult, handled himself well in the after game interviews. That's more than I can say for most college seniors in fact most young adults today.
Granted it's been a long time since he and his team experienced a loss, so it hurt. But I'll guarantee you unlike a lot of fans for both Alabama and Florida, he knows that football is not in God's big picture. I watched the whole game only because my son wanted to watch it. But that's what I hate about football. Too many people get so wrapped up in it that they lose the perspective that its only a game and it doesn't really matter who wins in God's big picture. He is only concerned with the character that is built in each individual as they play the game.
We all fail, but only God redeems our failures.
Time to get off my soapbox, and no offense has been intended toward anyone personally.

Danny What he said after the game was pure class. He has been pure class his whole career. If that had been reversed and it was an Alabama player I would have said the same thing. A football player shouldn't cry! No disrespect to Florida or Tebow!

The young man is a class act. A real role model for our young men. He lost but how many 21 yr olds could have done the interview afterwards and have given Alabama's team full credit and taken the blame himself. My hats off to him and he has my full respect.

i'll admit, it does not bother me to see tebow lose. now that being said, i think he is a great player and a better person. i think the problem that most people have with tebow isn't that it's tebow, it's what the media has done to his image. the constant pumping him up that some of the announcer's do, rubs folks the wrong way.
he handled the loss with class and i expect nothing less from him.
