I got the chance to meet up with Ken Knisely in Nashville this year and I am sure glad I did. I know Kenny likes to mess with people on here and I was guilty of not giving him the credit he was due . I learned that K is a pretty nice fella , knowledgeable about turkeys and a darn good trumpet call player . I had heard that he makes a good sounding turkey call and I took every chance I could one night to bug the heck out of him about building me one . Well the next day I was sitting talking turkey with K when he handed me this super sweet boxcall made from poplar and persimmon . Let me tell you ...this call sounds great ! I couldn't put it down , it runs so nice. Then He looks at me and says Merry Christmas Bob . I had to shake my head in disbelief when he said it because I didn't expect to talk him into making one . I was at a loss for words and was overwhelmed at the gift . I promised K that this call will get bloody this spring and I guarandangtold ya it will be in my vest every time I hit the woods . Kenny I can't thank you enough and it was a real pleasure getting to know you !

I just saw this thread and thought I would put my two cents in. I posted on another forum asking about a turkey tote. K messaged me his number saying he had some like what I was asking for. We have talked on the phone a few times and through Facebook. He is very friendly and helpful even though we have never met in person. I look forward to meeting him and hopefully hunting with him in the future. He can flat run a trumpet too.
