I came across this Spalted Poplar after cleaning up the shop, and I got this wood from Mike Mims about 4 years ago..I put it to good use in this trough Call....The other one is Sycamore I got from Steve Mann a few years ago when I visited him at his shop...Its amazing what you can find in your shop when you clean it up... *bannana*...I am very happy with the sound I am getting from these calls. I tried to put them in as many hands as I could in Nashville from Callmakers and Hunters..to get feed back..Lots of Positive response and comments which I appreciate....Everyone seemed to really like em.....Well almost everyone.. *peep*.. *up*
