thought I would post the very First Call I ever made start to finish...I bought some osage and Bocote...didnt have a darn clue what I was gonna do....didnt even have any tools...had to go to a friends shop...LOL...a few choice words later...here is the result...Been hooked ever since...This call is 001/09    (http://i679.photobucket.com/albums/vv152/trb136/bocote1.jpg)(http://i679.photobucket.com/albums/vv152/trb136/bocote.jpg)

that looks great--and from what I have heard out of your other calls I have listened to---I know there is plenty of turkey in it. I wish I could pull off that artwork you do.

Ok I have to ask, where you drugged/out of your mind/just plumb crazy?  I'm not sure I've ever seen someone try to build their very first call out of Osage and Bocote ...  that looks like a sweet combo for sure.

I love your art work.  I wish I was half that talented.  Ok 1/8 that talented. 

Curious as to why you selected that wood combo for?  That bird on the paddle is amazing man!

To be perfectly honest...i didnt have a clue what I was doing...Thought they looked pretty together...thats an honest answer....Boy have i learned alot since then....Not such a forgiving wood combo...But it sounds great...

Looks better than my first!! Mine was made out of some salvaged maple wood from a bunk bed found in an old cabin in Vermont,Lol.!
