Thumbing through the new Midwest catalog and seen Zink had changed the design somewhat. From what I gather the wings on the hen decoys are more tucked back creating a more relaxed position. Do you think this is going to help in aiding that gobbler to come in.
I feel if he's coming and hot, he's not worried if the hen has her wings tucked back in the right position.
Thoughts Opinions ? Just thought I'd throw it out there.

i've seen gobblers kome in to a kardboard kut out silohuette of a turkey..kolored by a 4 year old... trust me..they kould kare less about the "wing position" of a hen when they are shootin for some hanky panky...

From what I know, they made there decoys smaller more like the size of DSD.

You should ask Darleen about bugsy some time... Decoys that do back flips in front of two gobblers is about the only thing I've known to scare off turkeys :)
I've seen some pretty bad decoys be used and not scare off birds and I agree with you!

i killed all my birds last season using the decoys ,i dont see where size makes that much difference, when there that close its over anyway

Since you asked for thoughts and opinions I have to ask, why not consider the DSD decoys if looking at a new decoy?
They are the only high definition decoy made in the U S A and their attention to detail has been what makes them leaders in the decoy industry.

I have the new Zink Avian X Lookout and Breeder Hens; they look fantastic!
