As a artist, I'm constantly facing what writers refer to as writers block. When you paint turkeys there's only so many ways to paint a Gobbler and you are always looking for a way to change it up. I enjoy and admire the work of other artists and callmakers in a attempt to find inspiration. While looking at recent posts by our own Scott Witter aka (Popcorn) I got a idea. In the deep hollows around here it's possible to run up on two things, Thundering Gobblers and White Lighting.
Both of which I hear old Witter is fond of, so here it is (Thunder and Lighting Hickory/ Cherry)
Thanks Scott *lol*

Well, I am glad to be an inspiration, but just maybe the spark for Brian could actually be from my artwork as opposed to what sometimes *peep* *cheers*, mind you, is the inspiration for my own artwork, oh what a vicious circle we wander...
Brian, this call lid is spectacular no matter where the inspiration came from. Are you sure you only "occasionally" find shine, is it actually when you scouting the woodlands to make a new "run"
