My Watkins paddle has arrived. Wormy butternut with blood wood Lid.

Nice call and I know it sounds good!! I talked with Marlin for an hour this past Saturday in Dillard at the show and ran several of his boxes and they were great!! And he is a Great guy to boot..

Im beyond impressed. I knew I was getting an exceptional call, and still can't believe how good it is. I wish you guys could see this wood in hand. The bloodwood is probably the prettiest I've seen. This butternut is unreal. I love the worm holes.

Thanks to ol McKamey too. He was at the show with Marlin in Dillard and I had him pick me a couple out based on the sound I was looking for. Ol Jeff nailed it, and I had tough calls to chose from. Jeff thanks for being my ear, and thanks to Marlin. I promise this call will have a bunch of wood miles on it and not collect dust on some shelf.

Reis --my eyes may be failing some  *wha*, but I had a idea when Del asked me to run a few for him.....   *peep* computer GPS chips placed in the call where he will never find it *peep* !!!! I will have me some new spots to FREQUENT in Georgia now ...... *up*---nothing like technology !!!!!

Del, you picked our favorite one out also ...ya got a fine one for sure----take it for a walk in the woods and see what a call it really is---it will be the last thing a bunch of gobblers will ever hear !!!! Marlin makes one of the best I think and he his one HECK of a man also. There are a lot of makers that owe him a lot of gratitude and I am proud to be one of them.
Congrats on the killer and glad to lend a little hand...especially now that the tracking device is in place

There is a hot rod engine  hidden in this box too. I see little puff of smoke when I'm running it.

That is a real good looking Paddle Box. I know it runs as good as it looks.
