I thought I would post this as most on here know who Lonnie Sneed is, and what a gentlemen and good man he is. I just spoke to him today only to find out he lost his wife of 58 years. Im sure he would appreciate a card or a phone call or at least keeping him your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you guys very much for the prayers. Dad is doing ok but has tough spells each day. I had him up to my cabin for 3 days and he was ok while we were out taking walks. The wife and I treated him like a king for thoes days. I call him every night as my sister does, to check on him. Another thing that is helping dad is my sisters son is living with him, so he is not alone all the time. Kids and grandkids are nice, but nothing can take the place of a wife or a Mother. The best thing that could happen to dad right now is for some nice weather. Seems like the only time he is happy at all is when he is outside. He started dating my mother when he was 14 and she was 13. That put them together for 63 years total. I think whats keep dad going right now is knowing mom is in a better place. Thanks againg and he does enjoy getting a call.

I never met Mr. Sneed but heard only great things about him. Mr. Sneed, let me say that there are prayers headed your way from North Carolina. Don't know what happened but I can assure you she is in a good place. Our Lord is good! Hang in there, call upon your family when times get tough. May your life return to a somewhat normal state as soon as possible. God Bless you.
