I don't want to cause any troubles here *peep*, but I got PRESSURED into doing something by a certain someone on this forum. I don't want to mention any names as I want to maintain "esprit de corp: here, but man am I in trouble at home. Heck my wife won't even let me in the house unless I change my clothes in the garage after leaving my shop. Every time I sneeze--a yellow could comes from my mouth. Is there a cure. I feel like John Lennon wearing yellow colored glasses!!! Nothin I own will ever come clean again. I live in the South and it looks like the pine trees are in full bloom with pollen in the dead of winter as everything has turned YELLOW. My neighbors cannot figure out what has caused it!!! ROTFLMBO.
As I said before I don't think anyone will know who I am talking about ROTFLMBO, but boy my wife wants a few minutes with this person!!!! I am close to the end of this project and I hope this CERTAIN GUY appreciates all the YELLOW DUST comming from my shop !!! I sure hope no one figures out who I am talking about ROTFLMBO, because I would never...never ...never want to embarress him or bring alot of fun on him here on this forum. I'm assuming that dust is an impostor... must be yellowheart or perhaps yellow cedar...
I'll get my investigative cap on and get to the bottom of this... We do not want the wife to be all upset.... that's bad... from what I hear, the "responsible" party... might just owe a certain someone a car wash, garage cleaning, and perhaps a new pocket knife to boot too....
And now I read this person is getting a good member in trouble too... .very disconcerting for sure...

I'm not gonna let him see it until he agrees on the PRICE INCREASE, as I have to totally re-tool the tuning tools. I have sharpened and sharpened until there is not enough surface area in my chisels and knife blades to ever use again. I am going to hold it ransome ...and maybe even make him throw in the 'OSAGE hOLSTERS" too ROTFLMBO.
Once this certain person comes up with the ADDITIONAL BOUNTY I will release the call I am holding for ransome. I am most proud no one knew who this certain person was.

*aah*----I am busted now. Yep , I used to be guilty of using mushrooms n being a town drunk,,,that is UNTIL i found Osage smoked was alot cheaper---because no one wanted it. You just have to hide the yellow fingers-it's a dead givaway !!!

Well Jeff if you must know, he is EVIL to the core!!!!!!!!!!! And Osage is the Devils Gold! We have to be careful or he will put an OSAGE Voodoo spell on you and all your kids and grandkids will be born with yellow eyes! Careful. I have strings of Garlic hung around my house and when he calls I spray Holy Water on the phone. Beware!

Yep---he does live in the same state as you PORTER. Heck from what I understand ---that missouri family tree doesn't fork at all !!! Well well well... what can I say but luckily I know the Postmasters around here pretty good, so I was able to redirect a package meant for more Northern MO (augiedog's package... cough... cough...) and have it delivered here...
The yellow dust that coated poor Jeff's garage, tools, and vehicles was from the creation of a wonderful osage/walnut call. Needless to say, I'm pretty sure augiedog will not get this call forwarded on to him :)
This is the 1st Osage call out of Jeff's shop and I don't believe it will be the last :) Rumor has it he's already making some more yellow dust fly!!!!

I have a confession to make.After swearing up and down that I hated THAT wood also. I did the unforgivable. I lied to my family and friends. I'm a call junkie ..I couldn't help it. I thought no one would find me out.....
Last night in a very very very weak moment. i ordered a call......They box is an exceptable wood but the lid....just the lid mind you is.........YES OSAGE. I thought I might be able to hide this call and just get it out when no one was around... ROTFLMBOKeep it secretly hid away under lock and key.
Well after a sleepless night I had to come clean. My longbox call has a lid from ...yes the wood that stokes SATIN STOVE ... yes staight from LUCIFER LUMBER PILE...
If you want to ban me I'll understand...I'm a fonnie. A very week call junkie at best.
I'm going to throw myself on my sword ROTFLMBO now....
If you wish to ban me i'm will to accept my punishment..

Oh my... after a day in the hospital with the wife, I'm not sure any post could have lightened me up any better!!!!
I'm sitting here laughing my hind end off... Two bad things have happened with this site. My pockets are getting emptier and emptier (that's thanks to some great callmakers coming on board and from some subtle input from VARIOUS members... I blame everything on augiedog, which somehow finds it's way back to hunter22's fault too ROTFLMBO .. and we cannot forget to put blame on bulldogmikey either :).... shoot and turkey stew has been known to spend some of my funds also RkLu) and now people are finding out about the magic of the OSAGE. I've seen more and more longboxes with osage paddles than I ever dreamed I would. I'll have a mess of Osage Turpins for many many years of use! Some great input on some great calls to make to my additions. Problem is, I am running out of room to store them and my Osage built call display, well I was quoted it would cost me $2,569,897.99. That was a little more than I expected ROTFLMBO
Augiedog, don't you dare try to get an osage shortbox.... we might have words then ROTFLMBO
(really sad part is, I ordered one of those darn cypress/osage calls too... not sure which one of us pulled the trigger first, but I'll tell the wife augiedog did and blame that on him too ROTFLMBO... hey he admitted it first :)

So Jeff, tell me how you get that dust off,,, I haven't even started on the Osage strikers yet,need some input, here is a picture of my hat after working with Cypress all day, stuff is even stickier than Osage, and this is after blowing myself down with the air hose. I didn't dare come into the house until after Jill left,,, Nice looking call by the way!

i'm thinking about spray painting a pair of old socks yellow and see if i can him to buy them as a back up, i'm sure i can $25 for them, knowing how strong his osage lust is.
