Quite a few members on here from Pa.
Yeah there is.
Im sure there are dozens more here that haven't responded. Pennsylvania is 1 of the top states for the Number of call makers in it. alot of them are also deceased now too.
Over the last few years the Pennsylvania call makers have been reconized for doing well at Nationals too. which is good to see!
We are well known as being the toughest state to hunt gobblers in, due to the Mass Number of hunters and the pressured birds. To kill a bird on public land here is a heck of a challenge, but thats what its about.

Hillsboro, Ohio,,,,'at'd be 'bout 35 mile north of the border ,,,from the ''DARK 'n' BLOODY GROUND'',,,Kentucky.
Public Ground birds,,,,,can be very educational.

Dover, Pa.
Our gobblers are very tough due to all the pressure, plus the amount of availible hens and it is getting worse every year.
Pa. has some awesome callmakers.......Frozen Crow, Scott Basehore, Mike Lapp, Ralph Snodgrass, AJ., Cody, Denny Gulvas, just name a few.....If I haven't mentioned someone, that's a callmaker from PA. on here, PLEASE don't be offended...

Jefferson County, PA. Yepper, our birds are tough for the reasons mention and also because our season comes in on the later half of the breeding cycle in my opinion. Wish our season was about 2 weeks earlier.
Nice to see and know so many of you fellow Pennsiltuckians.----Jason
