I have long been a Remington fan when it comes to any shot gunning and have killed every turkey to date with one.  However, the Thompson center encore is soon to be next favorite.  Its light weight, shorter and shoots fantastic...as I get older I want to carry less.---Jason

Used a Mossberg 9200 for years....until the 935 came out. I was one of the first to get one. That thing is a turkey killer for sure!!! Just switched over to HTL last year. Heavy 13 # 7's and a SumToy choke is something else!

My 870's are work horses. Killed all kinds of stuff with them from upland birds, squirrels, turkeys, deer and clays. I was really impressed when hunting Sika deer on a drive in the marsh and dropped my gun in the muck when I sank waist deep. Knocked the receiver pins out, removed the action and cleaned out the mud. Five minutes later I bust a stag. The gun has been working great since.

Same here, NEF 12 ga. chambered for 3.5", but I shoot the 3-2-7 Hevi 13 rounds through a Jellyhead choke.  Factory dipped in the original Bottomland pattern too.  Easy gun to tote around the mountains.

Backup is a Winchester 1300 Buck/Tom edition with a 21" barrel.  Shoot the same choke and shell combo above, and its factory dipped in the New Breakup pattern.

For many years my favorite was my beretta 390, " Ugly Betty". But now I only shoot a 20ga and fell in love with my Weatherby SA08.... Which just happens to be a 90% copy of my beretta only in 20 ga.

My Benelli SBE has served my well for over 15yrs. I also have and used at times, the Benelli M-1 Super 90.. Love Both!! If I was to retire those.... I'd have to look hard at the Mossberg 935 for sure.

Do most of my hunting now with a little tweaked up H&R 20 ga.  hevi 13 in #7 with a Pure Gold choke. 4 lbs of easy totin' turkey medicine
BUT looking for another big gun project...maybe another 835 or 870 Super Mag if I can find one cheap.  And then there are the BP guns.....lovin' those more and more all the time.  Bout all I hunt with in the fall.

Here is my new Turkey Gun, Mossburg Tactical Turkey 935, got it last year. Used an 835 for years, great gun, but decided last year it was time for a scope, very old eyes just don't work likely they use too. So decided to go with the Auto. Equipped with Nikon Turkey Reticle Pro scope, heavy13 TK choke throwing heavy13 #6, adds up to some bad medicine for the Longbeards.
Lots of good guns out there but it's hard to beat the performance and value combination of a Mossburg.

I opted this past fall for a 20 gauge single shot... I think the old standby 835 is gonna be going down the road.

Nothing special about my turkey smoker.

Mossberg 500, 3" chamber, 24" barrel, with Tri-Viz sights on the vent rib.  Choke is the MAD super max hevi shot choke, which does a nice job with 3" hevi 13 or hevi shot in 5 or 6's
