Title: Bois d'Arc or Osage trumpet to New York

It's been a long time since I made a trumpet with inserts.  Here's one in Osage orange or Bois d'Arc with African Blackwood inserts.  There is also some rose engine work on the ferrule.  This is hand engraved with the aid of the rose engine.  Engraving with the rose engine is known as "guilloche'" pronounced "geo-shay".

That's a very sharp looking trumpet, not that I would expect anything different.
