Here's a project that has logged many hours in the shop. The bowl is Patagonian Rosewood approx 8 inches diameter. The lid is made from Padauk and Maple. The Finial is African Blackwood. The slits in the lid had to be traced out and individually cut out with a scroll saw. Got about 20 hours into the project. It will serve as a Potpourri holder for my future Mother-in-law.
