When will something finally happen that will spark the majority of Americans to raise up and stand their ground to the INFRINGMENT of our beliefs, faith, lifestyles , and morality of what made this nation so great- once ago!!
The forced governmental regulations on income, schools and religion has taken the values away from what makes a great nation.....life is not fair , there will always be winners and losers. You can't legislate success!!We have allowed the elected officials little by little to re face our society from entitlements to tolerance - now look where we are at.... It's time the Manority fought back and put a halt to this

As the commander of the Japanese fleet said after bombing Pear Harbor, "I am fear, we have awakened a sleeping Bear"! Or as my father always said, "Someone has stepped on their Dick"! A&E has their heads up their Butt. The entire cast should walk off! A&E, needs Duck Commander more than Duck Commander needs, A&E! Fox needs to make a call to the Robertson family and pick up another winning team!

Jeff, I'm in agreement with ya. All of this has been prophesied long ago. It just shows how much closer we are to the return of Christ. The rapture is getting closer by the minute!!!
It's really not about a country or nation, it's about people and their individual walk with Christ. Some just elect to live a worldly life up until they die. Some think they can live that life style till times get really bad, which is where we are now. Some even believe that a gracious God would not let anyone go to H_ll.
There is an old proverb or something that is entitled "If I could change the world".
A man once thought how good it would be to change the world. He thought if I can just change my family, they can help me change the local government, my local government can help change the state. The state can help change the countries government and the countries government can help change other governments around the world. And then the whole world will be changed. But much to his dismay and a lifetime of trying, he was unable to change anybody. His family wouldn't change so none of the others changed. He pondered and pondered upon this and came to the conclusion that if he had of just changed himself, then his family would have changed, his family would have made a change in those around them, which would have changed the local government, which would have changed the state government. This would have changed the countries government which would have effected governments around the world. So after a lifetime of trying, if he had just changed himself, he could have indeed changed the world.

God's word states, (Woe to those who call evil good & good evil & also it will be like in the days of Noah when the second comeing will be) & that is where we are today, Every prophese up until today has been fulfilled, the next fulfillment will be the rapture, that is the next thing on the prophetic calendar. I think maybe this thing with Phil might be just the thing to make Christians get off our butts and stand up for what we believe & I believe A&E just made a big mistake, because every hunter I know, makes no different's if from the North or South is somewhat of a redneck & does not approve of this Gay lifestyle & the way our nation is going & we are the ones watching that show, could be there will be no one left to watch.

Unlike so many of our other "public" personalities I think Phil and family will stand behind their values when pushed. Good for them! We should stand behind them too!
Ditto to everything said. Time the backbone of America stiffened up a bit and took back some ground.
The way I look at it Phil is a hunter and he has fired a dead on shot! Maybe his shot will hit more than just A&E and some folks will get riled up and involved instead of letting the "way liberal left" rule the roost.

It amazes me that the libatards can rant and rave and talk about gun owners not having rights or that illegal aliens share the same rights as Americans but as soon as a Christian stands up for their beliefs and THE BIBLE there is no such thing as being able to voice your opinion. Simply amazing to me! Looks to me like we need a Robertson in the white house.

I think of the 1000's of children that are hearing and seeing a Christian family for the 1st time when watching Duck Dynasty. No one is without sin, some people just don't like to hear it. I need one of the shirts "DUCK A&E"

It is wonderful to know there are still some christian people that will take a stand, i hear all the time you are not suppose to judge others, but Mr Robertson was not judging by what he thought, but by what GOD said in his Holy Word, if more christians would go by what GOD SAYS THAN WHAT THEY THINK, i know i am going to hit a touchy subject here, but if this world would quit trying to changes GODS word to make it easyer to understand and fit the lifestyle they are living , some version have taken the blood of our LORD JESUS CHRIST OUT IT ALL TOGETHER , leaving people with no understanding that by his blood our sins are covered, Hebrews 9:14, 1 John 1:7 . If christians would start letting this world see something differant in their lifestyles ,instant of falling right into the way of the world, we are getting very close to the second coming, We as christian people should be watching. amen

Just let me start by saying I stand behind all that you guys say and believe in The Lord Jesus Christ. With my profession I see the cruel ways of the world which includes the Media. This is just yet another cruel way of a select few twisting the words and ideas of Mr. Robertson to fulfill their needs. The media at times.....most of the time will use semantics or slant things to make it controversial. What bothers me most is there is no "watchdog" to hold media accountable. We have lost our focus as a nation and have been softened not only from within but in the eyes of the world. It seems we have lost the knack of politely telling those minority few who think they matter to Shut Up.

Very well spoken Rev. Mike!!! We as Christians need to quit waiting on others to take a stance and take one ourselves. We are to be ministers of God's word. The Apostle Paul, everywhere he went. was a witness for Christ. In 3 short years, the word of God was spread throughout all of Asia. We as Christians are not doing our part. The storm that came about when Jonah was on the ship, was it for the lost people or for Jonah??? It was for Jonah. The things that happen today are not for the lost because they are ignorant of God's word. It is to wake the sleeping Christians up.

A&E Committed Suicide, when they baned Phill !!! Even the media, congressmen, and 3/4 of the nation is behind Phill. Looks like the liberals have choosen the wrong redneck to try to pick on? Simply put GQ used Phil to sell there product. A interview with loaded questions that they twisted around to make a christian values family man look like a bunch of backwood sap's. A&E didn't stand behind Phil and it's going to bite them in the wallet in the long run . I agree with everything Phil said and support him totally on this matter. Phil had the Stones to tell it like it is *bowing* "My Man" *bowing*. Freedom of speech goes both ways. They just don't want to hear his side and that's the fact Jack!! I support the ban on A&E. I will not be watching anything on that channel. To be honest beside DD... I never watch A&E anyway so no great loss. I see the family standing behind Phil... As they should and pulling the plug on DD and sending A&E a slap in the face. I bet there are other networks just waiting for the chance to take the DD project over. Phil for President!! *bowing*

It's not about freedom of speech!!!! It's about America being a Christian nation. If you walk in and start running down the company you work for, don't you think they would show you the door??? If you were telling something different than what your company believed in, don't you think they would call you into the office for a heart to heart?? It's no different than the county next to mine saying "we"re taking God out of the school system"!! Where does the up and coming generations learn about God from?? Home?? Our church is full of children that we go pick up while mom and dad stay at home. You think those kids are learning about God at their house?? NO!! It's about Christians standing up and being Christians. People are ignorant of what God's word says. It's not enough to say "I'm a Christian". God commissioned us to go and make disciples of all nations. We can begin with our neighbors. Christ said, "Ye shall know a tree by the fruit it bears". The Pharisees and Saducess thought they were doing God's work too! But, yet they led a life full of hypocrisy. The thing that interested me was, Phil mentioned the adultures too. Nobody said anything about that. I guess that is accepted today. Christ told them that a harlot had a better chance of entering into the Kingdom of Heaven than they did! We just need to start spreading the good news more. Christ crucified, Christ buried and Christ resurrected!!! The Rapture is coming, but no one thinks it will come in their life time. I for one think it will be in our life time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you're not ready, you'd better get there!!!

America is greatly rooted in its Christian beliefs I don't think any one will argue that. But if you think for a second that our freedoms of all kinds arent in jeopardy think again!!! Jus look around you. Phil spoke about his belief in what the bible says and that "offended people" and now because he stated his Christian beliefs he's under attack. That's freedom of speech where I come from..

Tim, I'm not saying we are not losing our freedoms. It's like letting a child run the household, then when he gets 16 or 17, you start trying to discipline him. My point being if we had been doing what the Bible instructed us to do all along, we would not be in the mess we are in today!!! Myself included!! It's just like a guy in my Sunday school class that talks about how man has allowed the country to get in the shape it is in today. He seems to forget that he is part of mankind. When you live in a perverse nation, yes perverse, as we do, then what else can you expect. Sorry to say but the closer we get to the end of time, the more of your freedoms you will lose!!! Do I like it?? NO!! Is it inevitable? NO!!!
Let's ask ourselves this, how did we get a president like Obama to begin with? Did Christian people put him in office or was it the ones that make us a perverse nation put him there??? My point being, and I agree with everything Phil said; but, one man can not change the way things are today. We can't just rely on Phil. We can sit at the computers all day long and talk back and forth; but, until we as Christians step out into the mission field and start spreading God's word as Phil did, it's only going to get worst........and fast too!!!
How many of us , as Christians, asked one person this week, if they know Jesus Christ??
How many of us witnessed to the first person this week?
How many of us quoted scripture to someone this week?
If we answer, none.....Then this is why Phil is being bashed!! This is why America is in the shape it is in today. This is why gays and lesbians can now legally marry in 18 states. This is why mind altering video games are in all of the homes today. This is why, if you own a photography studio and offer your services to the public, you can not refuse to photograph a gay wedding. Or, own a bakery and have to cater the wedding if asked. This is why mine and your freedoms are disappearing. The spoiled little kid is still running the family(nation)!!!

Well I can now add Cracker Barrel. Last week my boss told me that him an another employee were talking an he said"Richard knows the bible but he doesn't know God". I just looked at him an said "Neither of you know me" and I think someone should be looking in the mirror. Asked him what he thought about Phil. He said he was an uneducated redneck. I said well you just proved my point you just proved that both you fools are full of crap. Believe me I sin but I know who to ask for forgiveness. Both are black an members of NAACP go figure.

I am reminded of the story about the dad and his daughter sitting on a bench, watching two daddy long legs stuck together. The little girl asked her dad, " What are they doing?" The dad replied "They are daddy long legs and they are mating." The girl jumped up and stomped on the creatures, boldly stating, "We will have none of that around here!"

I would like to echo what many have already emphatically stated, we better stand up and fight for what is right and teach our children and their friends the same. Persecution for stating religious beliefs is disturbing and intolerable.
It is refreshing to see many such grounded, faith-based folks on this board. I believe that is a major reason this forum is special. There are more and more folks out there every day with no morality or faith.
