Here is a trough call I just finished from some beautiful tiger maple from New York paired up with some really sweet cocobola . The surface is slate and the striker is dymondwood with a flared tip . This call has all the sounds I am looking for and will hopefully help its owner roll some big gobblers next spring . Thanks for looking !
Bob

That sure is some beautiful grain in both of those woods that you picked for that call. Beautiful and I'm sure it sounds as good if not better than it looks.
-
Bob, you are sure rocking that maple. Hope you don't run out of it anytime soon.
-
Is that slate for striking surface? Looks great!

Wow! That's sharp.

Denny , it is slate . I really like them with slate, they play smooth as butter and will run soft as well as loud and raspy if you lean on it a little.
-
Love the figure in that maple!! Outstanding Bob!! Sweet *cheers*
