Title: "It's Pot Boiling Time."

When you tune a Turpin short box and the paddle starts showing Angel Wings like this,

"It's pot boiling time."            

That's what the Old Timers on the River Clubs used to say when they killed a big turkey. They would dip him a couple of times, so he was easier to pluck. Young hunters today would not have a clue what you are talking about if you told them that.

I will post this one here, when I get the finish on it.  It's fitting a Mississippi River hunter from Cleveland, Ms. is getting this one.  It is #3 of 4 that he ordered last year in Nashville.  Sounding like a "Pot Boiler"

Here is the call with a coat of Danish Oil on it.  It is in the ribbon mahogany with the Butt Cutt Ambrosia stained Chickasaw Co. Walnut.  This one has a nice stain all the way down the left side.
