Title: Turkey Vest Suggestions
Post by: KYTURKEY on October 27, 2013, 01:53:41 PM
Well, I know this topic gets brought up every year a couple of times.  Now, it's my turn.  I ripped my turkey vest this morning while out hunting, lucky I didn't lose a great call, as I ripped it in the dark and did.t know it until I got setup.  Any ways, what do you guys use?  Also, let me know of any I should stay away from nd why.  I am looking at the Ol' Tom I-Beam Time & Motion Vest.  Thanks for any input in advance.

Thanks,
Patrick

I have heard great reviews on the cabelas tactical tater vest. I haven't personally used it but if I buy a vest this year it will probably be that one.

I've hunted for 2 yrs with the Ole Tom I beam Vest... I like it but my biggest problem with it is I'm always bumping those Box Call lids with my wrists/forearms or elbows when I set down.. I like the box call holsters but they need to be center on the vest and vertical.. All the rest of the vest is great ..

Id rip an Ol Tom to pieces where i hunt. I like the mossy oak limbhanger by russell. Its built super tough. The cabelas tactical tater will be my next one.

Thanks for the replies guys. I have one of the newer bucklick creek vests now, the one I ripped. It's not a bad vest. I have had it for about 3 years. I think I am going with the ol' tom. I have eyeing it for a while. Just couldn't convince myself to come the money. Now I have a reason.  *lol*
