Title: Torman Terror !
Post by: Shadetree Callers on October 13, 2013, 01:32:37 PM
Here is a super sweet striker I just got from my friend Steve Torman . After playing an Ipe striker Steve built for Scott Witter, I knew I wanted one too . But being the picky hunter I am , I had to get one made especially for me . I asked Steve to build an Ipe striker in my favorite style , The " Fulcher Flare " as he calls it , but I also asked him to incorporate a grooved ring into the call where I can attach a lanyard to prevent me from losing the striker when digging around my vest pockets . Well good 'ol Steve really stepped up to the plate and built what I consider one of the finest strikers you can carry . She has great friction and really plays well with the flare plus I am not likely to leave this one at the base of any trees ! Thanks a bunch Steve , this one is a winner for bud !

Glad that you like it Bob.  You certainly have pushed my strikers to places I wouldn't have gone.  It's fun exploring.
Hope she helps you next Spring.

Steve, my all time favorite from you is the camo laminate Fulcher Flare which would be very easy to lose if dropped on the forest floor . I was extra careful with it this spring and until i get a backup camo laminate ( with lanyard groove) I will guard it closely. But no pink  ahhhhnhhhhh!
