Been making a few of these little calls, the vibrating tongue calls are a neat little call that produce good sounding calls, you can get anything from a high pitched keekee to a deep raspy yelp, cutts, purrs, and clucks. They play like a pot call, but have a sound more like a box call. This one is walnut/cherry box with a cedar striker and is going in my vest for this falls season.

That is a good looking little call.

George Huffman from South Central Ohio first started building these back in the '70's and sold them through the Fur Fish and Game magazines. George is in his 80's and is now in a retirement home. They are a unique little call, but they can be fussy to play, but once you learn how to they will make any call you can do on a pot call with a box call sound.
Here is one of George's calls, the first ones he made didn't have a hole in the tongue. They were 5" long, 2" wide, 1" deep
