I hate snakes and DEAD ones that continue to bit are worse.......Right Snakeboots? :o

A snake expert here in GA says they have a bite reflex up to 4 hours after being killed. The part that interest me was the body, with out the thinking part attached, was trying to sling the head off.
That's the way I like'em though. DEAD !!!

Now that's a full grown Copperhead---man its thick !!!
Last fall I had a fireman helping me up on the mountain --he was driving the support truck while 3 of us worked on tractors. I was cutting shooting lanes in corn when I rustled up a big timber rattler---I ran it down and gave it a TERMINAL headache....threw it in the back of the truck. Made another lap on the bushog, looked up and my buddy was holding the snake in the middle of the body looking it it.....I almost had a heart attack
----those thinks are just like politicians....they can strike when ya sware they are dead. I scared him screaming at him to drop it before he got hit.
Like most agree---the ONLY good snake----is a DEAD one

We had a tenant years ago and her grandson killed a giant rattler while picking blackberries one evening.
He shot it with a .22 right square thru the brain. He wanted me to skin & tan it for him but I wasn't home so he put it in a bag and placed it in a refrigerator. The next day I got it out of the fridge, I grabbed the bag and that snake started squirming!
Talk about a shock! Brain shot nearly 15 hours earlier and it could still move! Da_ _ it man!
