Title: African Blackwood

Well, I am finally feeling better..and was able to get in a little shop time this week. I fiddled with some calls and turned a trumpet from a beautifully figured piece of African Blackwood.Just a touch of sapwood on the bell...w/ Buffalo Horn mouth piece. I also turned the lip stop of African Blackwood with an insert for adjustment....first one I have done quite like this...
