I finished this all walnut box caller recently... I usually double inlay and checker all four sides of my callers...but I kinda went light on this one....Lid and base are from some walnut that I saved from a burn pile three or four years ago in North Carolina... I cut the walnut for the box along the Buffalo River in Lewis County Tennessee....the inlays are maple...wish I was better with a camera...the pictures really don't do justice to the wood.

Walnut....my favorite of all! You can have your exotics, I just want my Walnut, so warm....ok I'll stop lol
