Strutnrut has been busy!  This is my new hen box from Richard.  It is a crotch walnut with maple lid.  It is a gorgeous box with a great sound to match!   *up*  Richard thank you for a great call.  I can't wait to get it in the woods come spring!   *cheers*

Very nice caller....that walnut looks incredible! You just can't go wrong with one of Richard's hen boxes for sound and quality.....the price is right too!  Looks like he is making the boxes a little "deeper" than some of the earlier ones.

I have been playing around with the heights some. I think they feel better aand I'm always going to try and improve on the sound.   

Brad thanks for the kind words. I just try to build a call I would hunt with. I do have a couple of Holly calls on hand.  ::)
