I just wanted to let you guys know that if your considering having Mr. Hudson build you one of his Hen Boxes you should. I spoke to him at length last week and what a pleasure it was. Here is a picture of my new box and boy does she sound sweet. Thanks again Mr. Hudson. I see another one in my future!

I agree, Richard makes an OUTSTANDING boxcall....I have 2 of them myself.  What is the wood combo on that call? I have one that looks almost the same...a teak box with a padauk lid.  *up*

It's Teak with Rosewood. Awesome combo. I have several long boxes and short boxes but I can't get over this sound.

I agree with you about Mr. Hudson's Hen boxes. They are well made calls and speak TURKEY, enough said.
