Title: Anyone watching Ida

 I thought hurricane season was over.... :-\    I guess not,  It's up to a catagory 2 at this point......from what I was just told.  I'll be watching the weather closely the next couple of days, and I'm sure a few others will also.

Season lasts until the end of November...but there are usually not any storms this late...but you can bet we are keeping our eye on it....susposed to pass to the west of us and go up into the panhandle

... got to watch her up close & personal from her western side - thank goodness she calmed down before makin' landfall, could have been much worse ...
I caught 2.5" of rain & it was blowin' to 30+ at times - still gustin' to 15 today ... :-\

We caught between 3 and 4 inches of rain.  Destin had some sand across 98.  Some wind gust of 50 or so.  Not much more than a good rain event for us luckily.
