Here's a call I got recently in a trade with award-winning decorative callmaker , Jack Wright from Attica , Ohio. Jack has won numerous awards for his clever decorative calls . He contacted me about doing a trade so I sent him a butternut longbox and this is what I got in return. The call Is curly walnut on the right rail and mahogany on the left side . The lid is cherry and made with his signature drop handle. Jack has the distinction as the only callmaker I have ever known of , who doesn't hunt turkeys. He is a master woodcraftsman and carver who fell in love with turkey calls one day and decided to make his own . Let me tell ya , this call sings the song too . It has sweet yelps, purrs and clucks and even has a gobble in her . The decoration is simple but exquisite . I can almost see that old turkey sitting on a limb while the fox wonders how it got away . I have his info if anyone is interested in getting a call from Jack.

You made out sweet on this deal Bob. I have spoken with Jack a couple times and he is kind man passionate about callmaking and you can see it in his work. I really like the fox on that lid, he has life in his body motion.
