Title: Ruffed Grouse

I was fortunate enough to encounter a Ruffed Grouse with Chicks the other day...she was acting out her injured bird routine so I knew she had chicks on the ground. One of the little fellas ran right to me...don't know why they seem to do this..... ;D

That's awesome thanks for sharing! To be a simple colored bird they sure are beautiful bird I love seeing ruffed grouse. Great pics by the way!

Dave, your photographic skills amaze me, I have said it before, but Mr. you have some talent and a real knack for being in the right place at the right time.  These are GREAT pics. *up* *up*

Thanks for the comments..you're all too kind ;D  Funny Brent..that's what my brother said..a chick magnet.. *lol*
Hoping the fawns come my way real soon...I have been pretty lucky this spring to be in the right place at the right time and I almost always try to have my camera ready
