Watch the rest of them.  The one where the hen roosts on his shotgun in the golf cart is amazing.

yes it does happen in PA, and the bird that followed me got so friendly that I was able to pick her up.  I will post a photo of myself and the bird after I get home next week.

Thanks for sharing! A buddy called last week to say a gobbler was circling his turkey pen and he was gonna catch it.  He did. A smoking longspur, I no Kidd. Took a few pics and released it. It has been back and brought friends.

That hen was major lonesome for company. Great stuff!

Had a hen years ago, my buddy and I called to in PA and she would not leave not mattter what we did, it was funny.  There out there!

You can date the photo by my camo.  I kept my face mask on just incase she might panic after I picked her up.  Later that Spring I went back to the same location and down the trail she comes toward me all fluffed up in a hen strut.  I see some polts, maybe two weeks old, farther off.  They don't come closer but she moved in and pecked my boots before I left them.  The only logical explanation is she was imprinted on humans.  But I think her actions and those of the other birds in the videos go beyond logic.
