need to make one for yourself. It's been a long winter and with the cold temps and no heat in the garage I haven't turned anything in some time. I had an aluminum call I planned on hunting with till a friend talked me out of it so when I got my Buckeye Burl back from Bob Buckner I had to turn a piece. It's still not that warm out but I had to try it. This call came out real nice and the wood has some awesome color in it. This was my first with this wood but it won't be my last. I aslo turned a few strikers in Willow,Persimmon,Ironwood,Gabon Ebony,Mulberry and Red Cedar. Thanx for the look. Man...That burl is nice!  Nice job.  *cheers*  good luck with it!  Those strikers are pretty killer, too!

Nice work Bill..looking good!! No fun working in a cold shop is it? Kind of hard to get the finish or anything else to co-operate!

Thanx for the kind words. Dave I do my finish work in the basement where it's warm but the Mrs. doesn't like Deft all that much. I told her it's better than wood dust. ROTFLMBO Scott if you come home and want to hunt get ahold of me.

dont miss any hunting over it though ---but .........I would like to properly INTRODUCE it to one of these mountain birds---they are getting closer I think to playing
