I'm ready to go. Watched a few birds this afternoon. They are covering quite a bit of ground hitting different food sources, I'm just happy to be getting back out there.

Heavy winds so I covered ground from sunrise to 3pm when it started to down pour. Didn't see or hear a bird. They have become very mobile and aren't zeroing in on any one food source.

Called in about 6 longbeards to within 60 yards.  Couldn't close the deal though!!! 

Here is one my buddy killed with a couple of my calls though.  Next best thing to killing one yourself!!

I made a guess this morning as to where some gobblers were roosting and sure enough when it got good and light  I heard birds fly down. I yelped twice real low and slow and 15 minutes later I had 3 of them within 30 yards and couldn't get a shot. I thought about breaking them up but I had to go into work for a meeting. All and all a great morning in the turkey woods. I'll be back after them in the morning.
