Title: digital camera?
Post by: triune on April 09, 2013, 10:07:45 PM
I've been seeing some really nice pictures posted on the site and was wonderin what type of cameras you all are using.  I will be looking to upgrade soon.
Thanks,
Kenny

I upgraded to an HD camera not long ago. Video mainly but take stills too. I got the Canon Vixia HFR300. Funny thing is most pictures I take that people love are shot with a Kodak Easy Share 6 megapixel that you can get for under $100 and it shoots video. I have over 20 on youtube shot on that little camera and they look good.

The Vixia I got on Amazon with extra batteries for $300. It will take an external mike, too, but I just use the on board mike.

I use a Sony, Cyber-shot G 16.2 MP HD. Very pleased w/ it. It also does videos. Very compact and simple to use.

I've used a Fugi s700,simple to use, and now mostly a Nikon D3100 (which I really like since I already had lenses to fit)

I'll be sure and check these out. Thanks!
I've got a Canon GL1 for video that still does a great job but is bulky compared to todays cameras.
