Had to work in the hills today. There were turkeys everywhere. I had to stop at one flock and take a few pictures. There were gobblers breeding hens, courting hens and just strutting everywhere. I probably saw 30 longbeards just in one 15 minute drive. One the way back home I stopped and asked the owner of one place if I could come back and bring my video camera and take some footage. She said no problem. She said 4 years ago there was a gobbler and 3 hens show up. Now there is a flock of 60 birds. I counted 9 longbeards just in one spot. Tomorrow should be fun.
