Title: New Project

I picked up a Browning BPS 3 1/2 inch 12 gauge shotgun today from a man in central Arkansas. I love the BPS shotguns due to them being perfect for a left-handed shooter. I plan to get this one dipped in the original Mossy Oak Bottomland pattern and add an Indian Creek choke and a set of fiber optic sights. Should be a turkey killer. I am also showing pics of the latest shotgun project I completed. It really turned out great.

Nice!  I like that camo job too.  That Bottomland pattern looks great!

Don at Camo Solutions did the camo work. I just planned everything. The second gun has a 22 inch barrel with fiber optic sights and a .660 Indian Creek choke. It patterns Magblends well and is a 40 yd turkey gun. I plan to shoot Nitro Mega Weights in the 3 1/2 inch BPS. It has a 28 inch barrel. My regular turkey gun is an older Benelli SBE with a 26 inch barrel with an Indian Creek .665 choke. It puts 280 in a 10 inch circle at 40yds. It is a bonafide turkey killer.

Rickey, hands down the best patterning gun I have ever seen was a Browning BPS which my Dad owned back in the 90's.  At 40, 50 and even 60 it was just unbelievable with all sorts of ammo brands and shot sizes.  It just seemed to love everything!  And some lower than life stole it. >:(

I went by Camo Solutions yesterday and picked up my project BPS 3 ½ inch from Don. He does some outstanding work. I love to go to his shop and eyeball all the fine guns he is working on. I almost feel guilty going in his place because he and I usually talk for awhile about guns and turkey hunting.

Don dipped this one in old school original Mossy Oak Bottomland. I fitted her with a set of Williams Slugger Fire sights and screwed in an Indian Creek .665 choke. I can’t wait for a cool day so I can pattern her with some of those Nitros I dearly love to shoot.

You were not kidding that gun looks good. I can't decide which I like better, the original or new bottomland. Sharp stuff.
