Since I have never been politically correct, I wanted to post this trumpet made by Frank Cox. It is Desert Ironwood with an ivory mouthpiece. Simply an awesome call. You guys that have trumpets made by Frank know what I mean when I say it is hard to imagine one any better.

Steve, every time I get up to Rickey's I try to load up my pockets but he shakes me down before I leave. Heck, I left a really nice trumpet there the last time I visited. He waited until I was far enough away that I wouldn't turn around to call and tell me I left it. *lol*
That is a great looking trumpet, Rickey. Can't wait to hear her!

Great looking call, but he reminds me alot of the story of Robert Johnson.

Dang Bill, I wondered why he went to coughing, cussing, and spitting when I asked, "Do you know Bill Henk.......???
I have had no bad dealings with Frank and until I do I consider him a friend. I enjoy talking to him about hunting. Yes, he is opinionated, but aren't we all???? Like him or not, the man makes a fine trumpet.

I had the same experience as you Ricky. I spoke with Frank on the phone 4 or 5 times during the building of my trumpet. Id say we spent a few hours speaking. I can see how some may be offended, but I had a great time speaking with him. I found him pretty funny at times and heard some good stories.
