Title: Parquet "Handled Box"

I really need to come up with a name for this style box call.
It is not a true "Turpin" style, as this call has angled sides, and a spring. It is basically a handled short box, except the internal dimensions are different.

Anyway, this Parquet box has a Red Cedar body with Walnut endblocks, Maple, Walnut, and Red Cedar accents.  The paddle is Maple, with Walnut and Cedar inlays.

Man oh man...  you know there was a time when I tried to figure out how you did what you did... decided it was easier on the head to not try and figure it out :)

Tim, I got to admit that is one pretty box call...a call like that doesn't need a name...everybody will know it is your work.

The handle is a separate piece morticed into the call body.

Thanks a bunch guys' for all the input on this call.  I don't build many of these calls, they can be a bear to tune, but when they are right they have a throaty mature hen tone.
