Title: Venison Stew Kind of Day
Post by: hunter22 on February 21, 2013, 09:02:50 AM
There is sleet/snow/freezing rain in the forecast and I am not going outside today unless I have to. I have a big pot of venison stew on cooking and will eat good afterwhile. Here is what's in the crock pot.

1 lb. baby carrots
15 oz. can of diced potatoes
15 oz can of green peas
15 oz can of sweet corn
Family size can of Cream of Mushroom soup
1 green bell pepper, browned
1 medium sized onion, browned
2 packs venison round steak cut in thin slices and browned
1 tbsp creoloe spice
salt & pepper to taste

Add everything to the crock pot and cook on high heat for about 6 hours and then enjoy.

Rickey,

Thanks for sharing that recipe.  I've been looking for a good crock pot recipe for venison.  I had backstrap medallions last night.  *cheers*
