Recently my neighbor gave me a pick up load of Persimmon, Fortunately for me it had some gorgeous figuring in it. My good Friend Chad Scruggs (Addited To Gobblin) turned this fine trumpet for me, It has a Bamboo mouthpiece and is Pure Turkey, Chad has been working with Darrel Gibson and is turning out some great calls...I am hoping to get a Tube, Pot and Crow call from this wood as well...Chad is going to have some calls entered this year at Nashville..I wish him the best of luck, If you get a chance look him up you will not be disappointed!! Good looking horn Tim. I know there are numerous varieties of bamboo. That must have been from a side wall of a huge piece. He did a fine job.

Guys I appreciate all the compliments on Tim's trumpet. It's the least I can do for all the help and support he has offered, not to mention the wood that he has come across. I hope to see dead gobblers in the next picture with it. Thanks again!!!  Chad
