Missouri state Dem. senator Maria Chappelle- Nadal, recently introduced legislation that will require, if passed, parents of school children to register with the school district if they keep guns and ammo in the home. Apparently she cites the guns falling into the hands of minors, and in turn the minors bringing them to the schools, shooting their fellow classmates, all in an attempt to curb classroom violance. Now you all can draw your own conclusions as to why this is happening, and how the teachers and administations will harrass your children(especially when your'e not there yet ) over what you keep in your homes, how many of the children shoot guns and hunt, and when they are identified, the searches they will encounter as they go through the doors, compared to students whose homes are gun free. I guess what really needs said, what I'm trying to come up with, when you teach your children safe gun handling and the responsabilities that go hand in hand, you will now have to issue a muzzle on them, and I'm not speaking about the muzzle that goes on the gun. I remember well, going to class after a weekend of small game hunting or target shooting at camp with PAP, and bragging to the other kids about the fun, but I fear that is just one other liberties that goes out the window here. You wont even be able to post their picture in the local paper when they do harvest an animal without reprecussions and harrassment. Truth be told, I never figured that from a state with rich hunting hertitage like Missouri, makes me wonder what other states will come up with. you can read all about it at www,opencarry.org/pa.html/ check it out for yourself, Thanks, Lonnie

Phil luckily not in this great state :) We have an amendment that guarantees the right to hunt here :) Or something close to that. I'm not sure how many other states have this on the books, but I know several states have came and looked at it and our Conservation Department. No one is perfect, but I think our states Conservation department is just about as good as they get *cheers*
Whenever our CCW laws passed, our current governor (he was AG back then and is a democrat) went to court to fight to make everyone adhere to the law. A lot of counties didn't want to do it. Out of the whole state, I believe only 3 counties were able to do something different. Luckily he understands the second Amendment too *up*
