Went and did a little scouting today. The turkeys weren't real vocal but I did hear a few gobbles and several flydowns.

Thats cool. There was a small flock on the hillside out back yesterday. Nice to see they are still around and making it thru the winter. ;D
I took the opportunity to grab a few calls that needed a final tuning touch and they seemed to like them. Well.....they answered pretty good anyway. :)

Scott there was about 80 or so turkeys in that tree and that is about half of what is usually there. I have seen 150-200 turkeys there. The first time I talked with the old guy who lives there he said he had counted 330 at one time.
