I've had this nice piece of apple laying around for some time that had a huge split down the middle of it and was just too thin to use for my style of pot call. It was just too nice a piece of wood to just add to the burn pile so I thought I would try something different. I cast the piece in a pressure pot with some red dyed Alumilite to fill in the crack and add some thickness to the call and here is how it ended up. I'm real happy with the end result and am glad that I didn't toss this piece. The call is a Glass over Glass.
