Post by: Jake St. John on February 01, 2013, 03:45:56 PM
Donating this one for our banquet here on Feb. 8th at the Washington Co. Convention center.  Hope you can make it.
Lake Jackson Walnut from Glen Allan, Ms. over hand picked Honduran Mahogany with brass top hat.  Hope to have a couple of these in Nashville.

Mark, I think I have 3 Turpin boxes in the Honduran Mahogany in the shop, that will be done for Nashville.  I will do 2 with walnut lids and one with tiger maple.  All with the brass top hats.

I should be around Bill Henkel's booth or Jeff McKamey's starting Friday before or after 12:00.

One of these would compliment that Stribling cutting call that you have very well.  In the woods, I usually carry that Stribling Cutting call and a short Turpin.  That combination of boxes in the woods gives just about every call a turkey can make with several different hens.

I look forward to your visit.

Scott, It went for $175 and I wathced a friend of mine playing one of your glass pot calls that he picked up on the silent auction.  He really liked the sound.  He hunts 5 or 6 states and really liked the sound.
