I bought an old box of paper hulled shells to empty out and then reload for my old blackpowder cartridge gun. I didn't look in the box to close, the price was right. Found a few plastics shells and then this...Winchester Super X Industrial 8. An 8 guage monster. Found one for sale on a gun auction site for $50 :o FOR ONE SHELL! :o It must be a turkey load! ::) ROTFLMBO

Jeez, don't tell Mossberg....hard to believe but I think that shell would make the 835 kick even harder!!!

Nope, the industrial load was used to blow the plug on open hearth furnaces, in steel mills. DO NOT FIRE THESE IN A SHOTGUN!!! As you can see, the shell you pictured, has a second rim.

They sometimes shoot the ash drains in power plant boilers when they plug up.
