Thw federation has cancelled their booths and the calling contest at the eastern sport and outdoor show next month. The powers in charge at the show have sided with the gun control surge and banned the display of modern sporting arms at the show . As a show of support for our second ammendment rights, the nwtf has made a big statement by refusing to be part of anything that infringes on those rights. My hats off to them for setting aside the financial gain they may have gotten and doing the right thing !

there is an incredible boycott being put together now,....I stand proud with all other manufacturers that are boycotting the show. It will be catastrophic to me financially but that will pass,..we have to stand for what is right and quit this nonsense.

I have attended this show for years, but will not be going this year. Way to stand tall guys!

Every major speaker, sponsor, special guests, contest, displays and competitions have all withdrawn,....it will literally be a ghost town for those people that don't know about until they pay $13 bucks to walk in the door. I pray that everyone shares this info with as many people as you can.

I wonder where the city of Harrisberg stands on this? The Harrisberg city stands to lose a lot of money from all the people coming to it. If they cancel the show, what are the chance's a group that supports what we stand for can come in and do? I'm sure all the advertising has been done and a lot of other stuff. That would make an even bigger statement if it could be done.

they are a big British Company,.......that is finally be revealed to alot of people also,...they just have an office here in the U.S.,........AND this is the same company that runs the SHOT SHOW. There in for some troubled times.

Pat, do exhibitors that pull out , get any refund. Or do you just lose the down payment. If they keep everyone's money then they aren't losing as much. I wonder if they repeal the ban , if any of you will still exhibit?

No we don't get any money back now,...at least i don't expect it,..and No one will go back now. Booth cost was $1750.00 for that show and probably equal that in product building time, material...etc. etc. This can't be about the money,..we have to take a stand on this and look at the money as an investment.

Pat , hopefully this will come back to you 10 fold in the long run, like you said, its an investment, folks will support you now more than ever! and someone mentioned about the city and other businessesthere, the city is completely broke to begin with, alot of people counted on this , I think it'll really get the word out !! you're doing the right thing here !!

I appalude all the vendors that pulled out of the show and know just how bad it can be on the pocket (the little guys will take the worst of it). But this is the tip of the Iceberg so to speak. This Company Reed does about 50 different shows includeing the SHOT show. Got to feel sorry for the locals that will suffer (rooms,food and such).
It's a small dent in Reeds armmor but it's still a dent. Keep up the good work and spread the word.

I recommend guys make a call to their local Newspapers and give them a heads up on what is going on!
This is great news material for them , and may save some families a trip to see nothing!

it would be really great if newspapers were alerted to this---the story needs to get out beyond us sportsmen. If the media would jump on it---it could really get the exposure it needs to get national attention.
Als---like to see the class action suit to include all of those who were not given ample time to determine the change in the showw to back out. They have to be hit hard this way to get their attention.
Hope it expoldes on them.....
Cudos to those who stood up, and I will pay attention to them to look to them to do my buisness in the future.

I feel for those who are gonna loose in this deal, the little guys that a show like this could make or break. BUT ya just gotta love the fact that someone is finally STANDING UP! So many things in this country could be fixed if good ole gun lovin', taxpayin', God fearin' Americans would just stand up and speak up.

Can't wait for this to hit FOX News! Probably would never be heard of on MSNBC.
