Here is a caller I just completed for a forum member who requested cedar from the last tree that Walt Winterbottom cut down to make a turkey call. The grain is as tight as cedar gets in this wood . The growth rings are too close to even count but this piece probably represents close to 100 years of growth . Thanks for looking !
